The elegant Devonshire Park Hotel was built in Eastbourne’s romantic heyday during the reign of Queen Victoria. It has since been sympathetically refurbished to make your seaside break as comfortable, quiet and relaxing as possible.
After a day of country walks and cosy pubs, you can lie back on our comfortable beds and enjoy the luxurious bedding, and why not borrow a DVD from our movie library to watch on your flat screen TV. All of our rooms are non-smoking, have complimentary bottled water, DAB radios, iPod docks and en-suite facilities. For laptop dependents, wireless broad band internet is accessible free of charge throughout the building.
Perhaps you could relax in one of our two lounges, with a cocktail in one hand and a book from our library in the other. Maybe have a drink in the bar and meet our other interesting guests, or simply gaze over the award-winning Towner gallery – a blitz of style and modernity among our peaceful Victorian architecture or over the green South Downs.
In addition to 29 en suite bedrooms, the hotel has six larger suites, three of which have a private patio perfect for the long summer evenings Eastbourne enjoys. Many rooms also have a bath and separate walk-in shower facilities, but all have the very fine luxury toiletries in the form of Gilchrist & Soames spa therapy range and soft, fluffy bath sheets.
We employ a night porter, offer a private car park for our guests and have elevator access to all but the top floor.
