Restaurant

Whether it is our pan-fried pork fillet with apple and mint mousse, or grilled trout with courgette rosti and lime and pink peppercorn dressing, our head chef, Quentin Rollings, designs a different menu for each day of the week from only the freshest of ingredients and sourced from our local suppliers that morning. Paired with a carefully considered wine list, dinner at the Devonshire restaurant is always an enjoyable culinary experience.

Our chef is known for invigorating taste buds, but if it’s simple comfort food you’re after, his expertly prepared Sunday Roast is a traditional favourite which guests have admitted to coming back for especially.

Dinner is served daily in our intimate four-room restaurant, with groups of up to 20 being able to enjoy a private dining experience. Our gracious staff are ready to accommodate any allergies or food specifications AND the restaurant’s friendly atmosphere carries upstairs to the bar where guests can sip post-dinner cocktails in one of two lounges, and in the summer, outside on the front terrace. Light lunches are also available at the bar during the day.

Also popular with our regulars are our ample breakfasts, made from fresh local produce. With the seafront and Sussex Downs so close by, we know a hearty breakfast is a must to fortify you for day of walking or hiking.
